SLAM XCAM 8K VR180 3D Camera Available On Kickstarter 

The Apple Vision Pro, Meta Quest, and other AR/VR glasses provide an immersive experience, but special cameras are needed to film the 180° content, often retailing for a high price. The SLAM XCAM 8K VR180 3D Camera recently launched on Kickstarter and says they will deliver an affordable AR/VR model that will film, edit, and share. Let’s take a closer look! For immersive content to grow, the capture also needs to be in the hands of the consumers. While the new Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive is one of the first 8K 180° cameras, its price tag of $29,995 puts it out of reach for most content creators. Canon did announce the RF-S 3.9mm f/3.5 STM Dual Fisheye lens for the EOS R7, priced at $1,099. They also unveiled a more dedicated AR/VR Creator Kit and RF 5.2mm f/2.8 lens for the R5 and R5C cameras, plus discussed an 8K VR camera in development.
